JL Seller-Ready Assessment
We visually document observable condition and sale-related details: exterior blemishes, wheels, tire tread measurements, glass, seats, upholstery, cargo area, odometer, visible warning lights, keys, manuals, equipment, modifications, available records, and notable imperfections.
The JL Seller-Ready Assessment is a visual documentation service and is not a mechanical inspection, diagnostic inspection, safety inspection, vehicle certification, or appraisal. Buyers should obtain an independent pre-purchase inspection from a qualified automotive professional if desired.

Service records, organized
Maintenance receipts, dealer invoices, tire purchases, repair and warranty records become an easy-to-read chronological maintenance summary. Where included, records may also be digitized for convenient sharing.

Ready to Post
We prepare organized materials for your own listing. Depending on your package: a suggested headline, full and short descriptions, specifications, features, maintenance highlights, condition notes, photo order, comparable research, a suggested asking-price range, media files, and a private-sale checklist.
We prepare the listing. You post and control it. We do not access your marketplace accounts, speak with buyers, negotiate, or complete the transaction.
Interior preparation
Vacuum seats, carpets, floor mats, and cargo area; wipe interior surfaces, dashboard, console, and cupholders; clean interior glass; remove normal dust and debris; and light spot cleaning where appropriate. Final presentation preparation happens before photography.
Exterior preparation
Exterior wash, cleaned wheels, tires and glass, appropriate door-jamb touch-up, drying, tire dressing, and basic finishing touches before photography.
The included Pre-Sale Detail does not include machine polishing, scratch or dent removal, ceramic coating, wet sanding, paint restoration, heavy stain extraction, biohazard cleaning, severe odor remediation, excessive pet-hair removal, engine-bay detailing, or major tar, sap, overspray, or contamination removal. Vehicles requiring unusually intensive cleaning due to excessive dirt, pet hair, staining, odors, contamination, or other conditions may require an additional charge. Any additional charge will be discussed with the customer before additional work is performed.
MOBILE SERVICE
We come to you.
Getting your vehicle ready to sell shouldn't require spending your day at a detail shop. Sale Ready and Sale Ready Plus are primarily mobile services: JL Auto Guide comes to your home and prepares your vehicle where it's already parked.
After cleaning and preparation, we complete the applicable Seller-Ready Assessment and professional listing photography. We bring the normal cleaning equipment and supplies; access to your outdoor water connection and standard electrical outlet may be requested.
Monmouth & Ocean Counties, New Jersey. Service outside this area may be available by request.
